OBSERVAÇÃO & REFLEXÃO DO COSMOS
Observação e Reflexão do Cosmos is an object-book that condenses the internship experience at Atelier d'Alves, presenting itself simultaneously as a report and a visual essay. Inspired by Cosmos by Carl Sagan, the project is organized into two complementary moments — observation and reflection — forming a narrative structured not chronologically, but thematically and conceptually. The first part documents the daily life of the studio, its processes, team culture, and the projects developed, with chapters that metaphorically represent different phases of integration, learning, and growth. The second part deepens the critical dimension, reflecting on methodology, organization, professional responsibility, and the role of design as a cultural mediator. Through photography, text, and graphic compositions, the book establishes a parallel between the scientific cosmos and the “cosmos” of design — a system built on invisible structures, human relationships, limits, and continuous expansion.
