BIBLIOTECA ARQUIVO ESMAD

This project consisted of the development of the visual identity for the Library and Archive of the School of Media Arts and Design (IPPorto), defining a complete and standardized graphic system that ensures institutional coherence. The logo emerges from the synthesis of three symbolic elements: books as a direct representation of knowledge, the letter “B” for Biblioteca (Library), and the historic aqueduct of Vila do Conde, referencing the geographical and cultural context surrounding the school. This fusion results in a simple, solid, and immediately recognizable mark, capable of functioning in both horizontal and vertical versions, as well as in monogram form.
